(CNN) – Austria has introduced unprecedented new Covid measures, Ireland under a midnight curfew, but India has reopened to vaccinated tourists.

One silver lining during the lockdown: the ski lifts will continue to operate, according to a spokesman for the Austrian Ministry of Health.
