6 reasons to eat more oranges in winter

For many people, oranges are fruits with a lot of juice, which spurts out when you start to peel the fruit. Researchers from the Dutch National Institute of Public Health carried out a study that lasted 15 years and included 35,000 respondents, men and women, between the ages of 20 and 70 who completed nutrition questionnaires and, among other things, reported that they drank natural juices. The findings showed that those who drank four to eight glasses of orange juice a week reduced their risk of stroke by 24%. Even drinking a glass of orange juice three times a week has been shown to provide a 20% reduction in the risk of stroke.

To conclude, eating oranges has one more benefit. The researchers found that those who regularly drank fresh orange juice lowered their risk of developing arterial disease by approximately 13%. Their findings were published in the journal BMJ Nutrition.
