Wonder Woman 3: Gal Gadot says screenplay is already being written

Israeli actress Gal Gadot revealed this Thursday (4) that the pre-production of Wonder Woman 3 has begun. “I can’t tell you yet, but we’re working on the script,” he replied to Variety about expectations for the movie.

The star joked that he couldn’t give more details about the sequel because otherwise “people will come off the roof and take me away and I’ll miss the event”. She gave the statements during a release party for Red Notice (Red alert in Brazil), a Netflix film starring Dwayne Johnson and Ryan Reynolds, as well as Gadot.

Wonder Woman 3 was confirmed as late as December 2020, shortly after the release of Wonder Woman 1984. At the time, Toby Emmerich, president of Warner Bros., confirmed that the Israeli actress would return with Patty Jenkins (director).

In addition to bringing the heroine to life, Gadot will also be the producer of the new film. Emmerich said that this next project will close the Amazon trilogy, which last month completed 80 years of history.

Wonder Woman debuted in the comic book world on October 21, 1941 in All Star Comics magazine number 8, with the story “Introducing Wonder Woman”. Since then, Diana Prince has been one of the most popular and recognized characters in the world, even by non-comic book fans.
