Focus: How Exercise Can Help Fight Breast Cancer

Breast Cancer Awareness Month, also known as Pink October, is coming to an end. One in eight women will be affected by breast cancer in her lifetime. We take a look at a remedy that is proving to be effective: sport. Regular physical activity has been shown to reduce the risk of cancer recurrence by up to 25 percent and improve survival rates by 30 percent. Sport is also a great way for women with breast cancer to increase their self-confidence. Our reporters went to meet women in France who have turned to fencing and rowing to fight their breast cancer.
