Dinosaur ‘invades’ UN to raise weather alert; see video

On the eve of the 2021 UN conference on climate change – COP26 – a dinosaur from the Cretaceous period invaded the agency’s General Assembly in New York City. Animated by computer graphics (CGI), and with a calm, eloquent voice, the velociraptor approached the plenary microphone without any resistance and delivered a passionate speech on climate change, aimed at world leaders.

Anyone who watches the video, published yesterday (27) on YouTube by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), will recognize some of the voices of famous personalities. Several movie stars lent their accents to the prehistoric beast, such as musician and comedian Jack Black, from Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, or Jaime Lannister de Game of Thrones.
