Realme Q3s features a 144Hz display and gaming-focused hardware

A Realme presented, this Tuesday (19), a series of new products at a major event held in China. Among the highlights is the Realme Q3s, a new intermediate cell phone from the Chinese manufacturer.

The model arrives in the Asian market with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G 5G processor, the same used by Realme GT Master Edition. The device also comes out of the box with the Realme UI 2.0 interface based on Android 11.

One of the highlights of the Realme Q3s is the 6.6-inch Full HD+ display with a 144 Hz refresh rate. With a resolution of 2412 x 1080 pixels, the screen still has a maximum brightness of 600 nits.

Regarding cameras, the model has a triple rear module with sensors of 48 MP (main), 2 MP (portrait) and 2 MP (macro). Meanwhile, the front camera for selfies and video calls has 16 MP.

Relatively light (199 g), the Realme Q3s has a biometric sensor on the side, Bluetooth 5.1 and P2 headphone jack (3.5 mm). Another striking feature of the device is the 5,000 mAh battery with support for 30W fast charging.

Prices and availability

In China, Realme Q3s are available in three configuration versions. Thus, the base model with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage will sell for 1,599 yuan (about R$1,395 in direct conversion).

The “intermediate” variant with 8GB + 128GB can be found for 1,699 yuan ($1,480). Meanwhile, the 8GB + 256GB device option will cost 1,999 yuan ($1,740).

According to information from the brand, the pre-sale of smartphones begins this Wednesday (20). So, the products are scheduled to officially hit Chinese stores on November 1st.
