Acer announced, on Wednesday (13), four new Chromebooks that cater from home users to workers and students. With large screens, the devices bring modern processors that contribute to productivity and entertainment.
Acer Chromebook Spin 514
Compact, the Acer Chromebook Spin 514 features a 14-inch IPS FHD screen. Designed for multitasking people, the Standard and Enterprise versions are equipped with 11th generation Intel Core i7 processors.
The model has a hybrid design and can be turned into a tablet. Scheduled for release in January 2022 in the US, the standard edition will start at $699.99 (about R$3,860 in direct conversion).
Acer Chromebook Spin 515
Featuring a 15.6 inch IPS FHD screen, the Acer Chromebook Spin 515 is an option for home and business use. The machine is powered by 11th generation Intel Core i7 processors and uses the Intel Iris XE graphics card.
With internal storage options of up to 512GB and up to 16GB of RAM, the device will hit stores in January 2022. The price of the Enterprise version will start at US$649.99 (R$3,585).
Acer Chromebook 514
Ultra-portable, the Acer Chromebook 514 has a 14-inch matte screen. Internally, the device uses the MediaTek Kompanio 828 processor, ideal for multitasking activities and entertainment.
The model is extremely light (1.3 kg) and has a 15-hour battery life, making it a good option for travel, according to the manufacturer. Scheduled for release in December this year, the Chromebook will start at US$ 399.99 (R$ 2,205).
Acer Chromebook Spin 314
Aiming to be more affordable, the Acer Chromebook Spin 314 features a 14-inch IPS FHD touch screen. One of the highlights of the model is the OceanGlass touchpad, a piece made entirely from recycled plastic waste from the oceans.
Recommended for students, the device uses the latest Intel processors and a 10-hour battery life. Coming to North American stores in November this year, the price of the product starts at US$ 499.99 (R$ 2,755).
